history: Cadence or Kandi as she prefers to be called was born on February 28th. She was an only child and grew up wonderfully and was ice skating by the time she was 5. Ice-skating and gymnastics were her passions. And despite the fact that her ice-skating coach ruined her parents marriage. Her Ice skating teacher was beautiful. Tall Blonde, Just plain beautiful in every way and Kandi hated her with a vengeance. Kandi was beautiful too because her mother was. Her mother with her long red hair and curvaceous looks. She was a similar version to her mother when her mother had been younger. So Kandi could never understand why her dad couldn’t see it. And why he would give up his daughter in favour for a son and a stupid, immature horrible girl 4 years younger than Kandi and her ice skating coach was old enough to be her sister.

On Kandi’s 16th birthday she walked in on her dad and her ice skating coach going at it. Three hours later her dad told her mom he was getting married to Tasha and wanted a divorce. Never before in her life had she seen her mother so broken. So unlike most kids when he mother started dating her high school maths teacher Kandi was thrilled. But then the bulling started and Kandi, her mom and her new soon to be step dad moved to Santa Monica. And after two months and 3 weeks before Kandi’s Birthday out popped the news that her mom was expecting. And she could live with that. Her mom got a job as a nurse and soon after her step dad told her he was sick. Kandi had been head bridesmaid at their wedding and hearing that her stepdad was sick broke her heart. And while she was out he met the one guy she never knew would effect her life like he did

Shane was amazing and she and he were fast friends then about 5 minuets later she met his daughter when his mother brought her over and it was love at first site. Shanes daughter was the cutest baby she ever saw. And she never knew how largely it would effect her life like it did. She loved kids but she never saw herself falling for Shane or becoming like a mother to his daughter. But she did. But she never for saw how much she would like being referred to as mommy. It only happened once because after that both she and as far as she was aware Shane to got scared and they both started referring to the two of them and daddy and Kandi. She loved being called mommy but it wasn’t fair on either Shane or Allie. Because if she left it wouldn’t be fair on Allie, she had one mother walk out on her she didn’t need Kandi doing the same.

Kandi smiled from her place on her bed. She was fully dressed but she had been so cold she had just snuggled up beneath her covers and turned on her laptop. she had spent most of her time on her laptop chatting to Shane, He was planning on taking Allie to play in the snow and wanted her to come. She didn't mind. Playing with Allie was her favorite pass time. She knew she would need to change though it had been snowing and it was cold. She still had a candy cane in her mouth from the batch she had made earlier that day. She even had some hidden at Shane's place. She grinned at the thought of her hidden stash she had almost driven Shane crazy when he tried to find it. She found it so funny, watching him run around the house trying to find the sugar she had hidden from him but let Allie in on the little secret. Once Shane had logged off she did the same. 'Kandi Kane' has signed of. popped up on screen and she smiled. She had been meaning to change her name for a while but she was much to lazy to do so. plus she had no idea what she would change it to. so she left it the same until inspiration hit. it wouldn't take long, she was extremely creative. not as creative she she would have liked to be but she was created, high school cheerleader. or at least she was while she lived with her ad, her mom and step dad weren't so happy about her jumping around in short skirts. She had enjoyed it though, at least while she did it. once she dropped college she stopped dancing and cheer-leading. She still sung though. She used to sing Allie to sleep when Shane was to exhausted to do it.

Sliding her jean clad legs out from under the covers she wandered into her on suit bathroom. She didn't have long but she needed to wash her face and brush her teeth again.After she had finished her hygiene routine she reached up to the top shelf and grabbed some deodorant. Making sure she was all fresh she walked over to her walk in closet. Grabbing some tights, some leg warmers and a thicker pair of jeans she slipped into those and then slid a long sleeved top over her new tight tank top and then pulled on a red hoody. Once she had decided she looked good she pulled on some snow boots and grabbed her new jeans and a pair of trainers and slid them into a back pack. He had told her to bring something hot for later. So she had told him she would wear her new tighter clothes. She heard no complaints from him. Plus she new that Allie would be shattered when they got back from playing. She knew she was going to get soaked once she touched the snow. But she didn't care,she would just have to have a warm drink when she got back to Shane's place, Allie always made sure when they finished going out for the day that Kandi came back to Shane's place. She didn't blame the little girl. She thought the three of them were a family and neither she or Shane had told the girl any different they jut changed the subject each time.

Kandi skidded out of her bed room and into the kitchen. She grabbed a few candy canes she wasn't going to let Shane see and she also grabbed the cookies she had made for Shane because how could he have a cookie jar with no cookies in it?? It was beyond her how he could but he did, and it was confusing. She put them all to one side and got the house ready for when the rest of her family got home. He dad had gotten sick and even though Kandi was old enough to live on her own she couldn't because every time she thought about it she thought of her dad in bed or coming back from the hospital. He had a brain tumor and she was the only one he recognised. So she had to stay there. well she was the only one he recognised when he had one of his moments. Moments of forgetfulness and hatred for those in his house he didn't recognise. Sighing she loaded the dish washer and put it on, she filled the kettle and put it on to warm. She put away everything she had used that morning before she had gone up stairs and she then just double checked everything was safe and that her dads pain medication was out and next to a glass of water so he would remember to take them. Once she was satisfied she made sure every thing was shut off. That she had turned off the CD player, that she had shut off the downstairs computer even though she hadn't used it.

Once she heard a car pull up outside the house she grabbed her bag of stuff and placed it on her shoulder. Her long blond hair was brushed and left to fall in its natural curls. She had no jewellery on and she only had a slight natural look make-up on, but she always had that on. Opening and closing the door she locked it before jogging her way to the car and sliding into the passenger seat. Placing the backpack in the back seat she grinned. Hey there alliekins ready to go play in the snow with daddy and kandi?? she asked with a big smile. She then turned to Shane. I personally think she's being extreamly composed... But thats just me. she joked. When he pointed out her coffee she thanked him. Taking a sip she shook her head You remembered my favorite coffee. Ive taught you well. she joked. She had always gotten him to get her coffee when ever he went out. It was only reasonable he would remember what her favoite coffee was. Vanilla latte, it was heaven.
