history:January First, a crazy night. Not only the beginning of a new year, but the birthday of a celebrated child. She was the last and youngest of the Clarke children, sister to a five year old girl and a three year old boy. She was a beautiful baby and he parents loved her just as much as her other children. She was named Annetta Eloise after a French grandmother.
Growing up, she got slightly more attention then her other siblings. Being the baby, the Clarke's wanted her close to them. And she became the daughter they always wanted.
She was social and charming, everyone couldn't help but love her. She went to all her fathers movie premieres. She loved being involved, trying new things, and meeting new people. She also loved the outdoors. She loved horseback riding and camping and stuff like that.
She also had to be active all the time. She played soccer and filed hockey , but she was far from a tom-boy. Cheer leading and dance, were in her extensive extracurricular resume. Not only was she active and social, she was also studious and trust worthy.
Of course, entering middle school, it became hard to stay so perfect. She took on her true self then. Perfect daughter by day, reckless adrenaline junkie by night. Her parents trusted her so much, they let her due basically whatever, with few questions asked. Not that she was a wild child. She liked to party (but not get drunk) and she liked to flirt. She never turned down a dare, and seldom let any opportunities pass her by. She was all about having fun whenever she got away from her parents.
She never really liked her name. Annetta sounded so uptight, so proper. Well, some of her friends noted how lucky she was. Always getting away with stuff, acing a test she didn't study for, getting the lead in the dance recital, making varsity soccer, being so free, having so many guys like her. That, combined with her signature perfume, earned her the nickname Lucky. Now, she doesn't go by anything else.
Her and her sister, Tempest, were never very close. Lucky suspected it was because Tempe simply didn't like her. Maybe she was jealous, maybe it was the age difference, maybe she was too different. Whatever the case, they never were close. Her older brother, on the other hand, was always her best friend. Big brother understood how Lucky really was, and accepted it. But he was very over protective of her, especially entering high school. When ever she was flirting or just talking to a boy, he'd suddenly appear. It was hard, but she weaseled her way around it, and got...lucky....
She met VALENTIN at a bonfire on the beach. Lucky had never really talked to him before, he was two years ahead, and she was only a freshman. Beside that, Lucky had seen him with too many girls to count, and she didn't want to be a statistic, so to speak. Well, he approached her and they began to talk. They hung out all night, and for a few weeks after that. Then he asked her out. They've been a couple ever since.
She and her boyfriend are still hopelessly in love. He's even waiting for her so they can start college together. She believes she's found Prince Charming.

Tonight, Aspen Stevens was tenser then usual. Another argument with her dad, another lonely weekend spent. She had to have some fun and let loose. She ambled the streets of the city looking for a place to be free. She wasn't one to go into a strip club, so that was out. She had once until the incident. She shook that out of her mind and continued her quest. When she came to The Sound Lounge, she knew this was it. Loud music, louder people. Good time.
Aspen usually wasn't one to go anywhere alone, but it was Saturday. People had plans and plans often overlapped with friends plans. She figured she run into someone. She walked onto the dance floor immediately after tossing her gold clutch on a nearby empty table along with her shoes. Barefoot, she moved to the beat. Her arms in the air, hips shaking. It wasn't long before a swarm of guys were trying to dance with her. She let them dance around her enjoying the attention. This was her element. Dancing was something she'd been doing since she could walk.
She shook her hips and got lost in her own movement, her long brunette hair swung down her back in a life of it's own, her simple but sexy blackdress, played around the curves of her body. All five foot ten of her was in movement. She finally looked around her as the song ended. Guys were a natural resource. She got attention and her aura oozed wild and fun. Her exposed tan and toned soccer legs, generous chest and sexy smirk didn't hurt either.
She was thirsty. Her entourage followed her to the bar as she ordered a glass of whiskey ( this girl partied it up! Though she needed no alcohol to have a good time, and this would probably be her hard hitter for the night). The people watched her every movement, still graceful though she wasn't dancing. She wouldn't lie, she loved attention and it was well earned. She wouldn't waste her life in a corner waiting for her prince charming. She'd kiss all the frogs if she had to.
She was bored, there seemed to be no challenge or anyone worth talking too. Penn was a queen and everyone knew it, unless they'd been living under a rock......in China. Even if they didn't go to high-school, her entire appearance from her cloths, to her beauty to her posture screamed importance. She gazed through her possibilities lazily as she finished of her glass. College guys......taken guys......nerds.... She got a devious look in her bright eyes when she spotted him. He was tall, gorgeous, and mysterious. She'd seen him before but didn't recall actually talking to him. Perfect she purred to herself.
She decided to wait awhile and see if he was really worth her time, waited to see if he'd approach her.
