We aren't the city in the sunshine. We aren't the city filled with celebrities. No, we're the city with the highest murder rate. The highest poverty rate. The highest obesity rate. We're a long stretch from California, my friend. In Detroit, it's every man for themself. Walk in the wrong neighborhood at your own risk. East and South sides of town are the living hell. North and West sides are considered better; but not by much. Most of the population in Detroit are younger people, taking advantage of the low living costs, going to school, and simply surviving. However, Detroit's youth also have a reputation for stirring some major problems. Their problems are well known to the entire city, thanks to the local gossip website; every D-towners nightmare.
Detroit is ridden with gang activity, crime, violence- it poisons the city more and more each day. The citizens of Detroit work to keep their lives as normal as possible, but it becomes difficult when the city is crumbling around them. Can you live your life in the fast lane?
